Subject: Memorial Brick Laying Ceremony for Fort Myers Police Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller

 

 

The Southwest Florida Public Service Academy will add a 39th brick in honor of Fort Myers Police Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller to its Fallen Officers Memorial on Friday, August 17, 2018.

 

Officer Jobbers-Miller was a recruit of the 137th law enforcement academy class which graduated in June of 2015. He was shot in the line of duty and died on July 28, 2018.

 

The ceremony will include brief remarks from Fort Myers Police Chief Derrick Diggs, Public Service Academy Director Todd Everly, and the unveiling of the memorial brick by Officer Jobbers-Millers’ family.

 

Media is invited to attend.  The ceremony will start promptly at 9:00am.  The Southwest Florida Public Service Academy is located at 4312 Michigan Ave in Fort Myers.  Please RSVP to News@leeschools.net if you plan to attend.

 

The Southwest Florida Criminal Justice Academy is certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission to train students to become Florida State Certified Police Officers, Correctional Officers, and Probation & Parole Officers.
